Growing up in Philly, one had to look a little harder for beauty but it was there. In the bricks. In the rose, drying in the hot sun. In the water glistening in the street. In hopeful eyes of children. As an adult I learned to see. I was always an artist but a healthcare professional I learned how function is determined by form. And I hope to continue to grow and learn how to see with new eyes.
